Treasurer and Financial Issues

The role and responsibilities of the treasurer are examined as well as explanations of important accounting terms such as income statement, balance sheet, cash and accrual. Important financial lines on the T3010 Information Return are analyzed to clarify differences between charitable, administration and management, and fundraising expenses. Strategies for understanding reporting lines and transferring financial information to the T3010 are presented.
